Another Woman Accuses Bill Cosby of Sexual Assault

This is horrifying. According to multiple reports including those from the New York Daily News, EW, and CBS, another woman has accused Bill Cosby of sexual assaulting her, bringing the total number of alleged victims to 8. In an exclusive interview with the New York Daily News, former model and actress Angela Leslie alleged that Cosby forced her to fondle him at a hotel in Las Vegas in 1992, after she says they met two years prior when she sent him a letter and a photo.

"The main thing I want is for people to know him for who he really is," she bravely told the Daily News of her horrifying story. "He’s not this dad of America."

According to Leslie, Cosby allegedly invited her to see him in Las Vegas after she sent the letter, and then tried to offer her a drink that she ultimately didn't end up taking. He also allegedly asked her to act intoxicated. "I couldn’t drink it, I tasted it and put it down. Then he asked me to go into the bathroom and wet my hair. . . . I walked back out, and he had removed his clothing and gotten into bed," she said.

It's then that her story gets difficult to read: Leslie alleges that Cosby tried to force her to fondle him in the bed. "He masturbated with my hand. I wasn’t pulling back. I was in shock." Afterwards, she says, she realized the drink may have been drugged, because he let her go shortly after. "I didn’t drink the alcohol, and maybe since I didn’t pass out, he decided to get rid of me."

Leslie is the 8th woman to come forward with claims that Cosby sexually assaulted her (the 7th victim, a nurse named Therese Serignese, just publicly spoke out with her own alleged account yesterday). They're horrifying reports that the actor himself has not personally responded to — but his lawyer, Marty Singer, has released a statement denying the allegations against his client:

Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.
