Apparently, Gale and Katniss are such good friends in real life they can lean on one another during tough times — like a breakup. Reportedly, Liam Hemsworth is helping Jennifer Lawrence mend her broken heart after splitting with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. How is he doing that? According to The Independent, Hemsworth tried to put a smile on his costar's face by sending her an adorable stuffed koala bear with a note reading, "Hold out for the perfect man."
Lawrence just loves koala's, per an insider who said, "Jen started pouring her heart out about Chris and things got personal. Liam knows Jen loves koala bears so, the next day, he had an enormous stuffed toy koala sent to Jen," which included the note. If true, Hemsworth definitely isn't playing games. The same source also added that the Hunger Games stars have been friends for a very long time, and she "confided in him about the drama in her love life. She's really leaned on him during all the drama with Chris."
This also brings up the topic of romance reports about Hemsworth and Lawrence. Are they together? Are they pursuing something? Who knows, but if there is truth to any of this, I think we should focus on the fact that Hemsworth seems like a really sweet guy who wants to help out a friend — similar to the way J. Law helped Hemsworth with his split from Miley Cyrus. Now, that's true friendship.
