5 Sources of Cute To Help With Reality

by Emma Cueto

There are a lot of things to be upset about in the world. Barilla hates gay people. Books are getting banned. All over. Gorillas are sexist. The Daily Mail is sexist. Buildings are falling down on innocent people. Pageants are racist. People are racist about pageants. Zimmerman is still a thing. Trying to de-fund Obamacare is still a thing. These guys exist. The lists go on and on. And on. So sometimes, to keep yourself from spiraling into either rage or depression, you need to look at something adorable as a reminder that there's still good in the world.

For those tough moments, we bring you five sources of really cute things from around the internet, all sure to put a smile on your face. And potentially convince you to buy a puppy.

1. Shiba Inu Puppy Cam

The Shiba Inu Puppy Cam began as a way for their owners to keep track of the little guys while at work to make sure that everything was going okay. But since you aren't their owners, you can just use it to watch a live stream of little balls of fluff as they sleep, play, and try to get the hang of their new feet. Nothing else can possibly stand up to their cuteness.

2. Klaus von Hopsburg

Klaus von Hopsburg is a rabbit with the best of all rabbit names. His owners regularly post pictures and videos of him doing adorable things like eating lettuce, painting pictures, and just generally sitting on things being adorable.

3. Emergency Cute Stuff

The Emergency Cute Stuff Twitter understands the importance of having cute things in your life. That's why they send out a daily tweet with a picture of some small animal being cute. Because if the puppies and kittens don't cheer you up, maybe a platypus or monkey will do the trick.

4. Cute Things Falling Asleep

More or less just what it sounds like, this website is full of videos of cute things falling asleep. Each video is rated based on how cute and how sleepy the subject is. From hamsters to toddlers, nothing is cuter than cute things falling asleep.

Okay, remember when we said nothing could stand up to the puppy cam? Well we weren't lying exactly, but OH MY GOD PANDA! The San Diego Zoo has been kind enough to supply the world with a live cam of its giant pandas doing things like eating bamboo and being pandas. It's almost too much to handle.
