Target's New Collab Revealed — With a Twist!

by Alyssa Shapiro

Well, well, well... what have we here? One Target designer collaboration is still in stores and yet clearly the fans are not yet sated. Already announced for a February release date is the newest designer to partner with our favorite boutique (Targét, darling,) and it's print master Peter Pilotto. It's all fine and grand, we're marking our calendars, etc. (February 9 — during New York Fashion Week.) But there's a twist!

Joining in on the fun will be luxury e-tailer Net-a-Porter.com (or that sly devil who keeps taking all my money, as she's known in my apartment.) The retailer is into trying new things recently. Along with Target, Net-a-Porter will sell the Pilotto/Target creations, most of which are ringing in at under $60. Guiltless shopping for all!

Pilotto, whose pieces already sell on the luxury site for anywhere between $730 and $7,400 (but when you're swinging that high, what difference a few thou? NBD!) will be a complete steal, or at least a moderate, reasonable shopping decision, in comparison. I have a feeling $60 would hardly get you the zipper on a normal Peter Pilotto number.

So if you're into graphic prints, bold colors, and figure-hugging styles, this coming February would be the time to stock your closet. And if you're not? What better a reason to take a reasonably-priced one out for a joy ride? Just for fun.
