You Don't Want To Miss the Golden Globes this Year

Sunday, Jan. 11 is a very special day for those obsessed with TV, movies, and Hollywood. Oh, yeah, it's also a great day for actors, writers, directors, producers, and all those other extremely skilled individuals who work in the entertainment world. Why? It's the day of the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, where we watch some of the top stars and talents of the industry take home awards for their amazing work. As we all know, it will be broadcast live on television (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC), but can those who don't own a TV stream the Golden Globes online?

Well, that's a very good question. I can't give you a definitive answer, but I think it is most likely that you'll be able to watch the GG's on your computer, tablet, or whatever device you own. This is the 21st century, after all. No official site or link has been released to stream the awards, but I'd continue to check either the official Golden Globes site, NBC's website, or this other unofficial Golden Globe Awards site. Of course, Twitter is another great resource to utilize to find out if the awards will be streaming. I highly doubt it won't be.

Until we find out and before the awards air, let's have some fun by taking a look back at some of the best moments from last year's Golden Globes that were also hosted by the amazing Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, so we know just how much there is to look forward to on Sunday night.

Amy & Tina's Entire Opening Monologue

Amy and Tina never fail in delivering a successful monologue, which others hosts often struggle with. They pull it off every year, and I'm sure they won't disappoint this time either.

Amy & Tina Ripping on George Clooney

Yes, this was part of the monologue, but it deserves it's own bullet, because, well, it's awesome.

Jacqueline Bisset's Win

Not only was her win surprising, but so was her long walk to the stage and her speech that included cursing.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Being Julia

Seriously, does it get better than this?

Randy & Idris Elba

Not only was it hilarious seeing Amy portray "Randy Fey" aka Tina's "son," but it was even better seeing Idris Elba nodding his head yes to the fact that he is Randy's father.

Amy & Tina's Spot-On Introduction for Leo

There's been no better introduction — ever.

Emma Thompson Drinking on Stage & Throwing Her Shoes

I had no idea Emma Thompson was so fabulous, until this past awards season. This GIF explains it all.

Amy Poehler Finally Wins!

Amy Poehler waiting to see if she wins while sitting on Bono's lap and then finally kissing him because she's so excited is just beyond amazing.

Matt Damon, aka The Garbage Man

Matt Damon recognizing the title Amy and Tina gave him. What a good man.
