Kristin's First Post-Baby Red Carpet Look Is Fab

While I'm totally over commenting on celebrities post-baby bodies, I'm not above obsessing about their post-baby fashion choices. The always adorable Kristen Bell made her first red carpet appearance after giving birth to daughter Delta Bell Shepard and, naturally, her outfit was superb.

The actress hit the 2015 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 7th wearing a short-sleeved magenta Monique Lhuillier with a cutaway top and a skirt full of cascading ruffles. She paired the dress with pointy silver Christian Louboutin pumps and a tiny box clutch, plus the wavy shoulder length bob she's been owning for awhile now and some subtly frosty makeup. Bell walked the red carpet with her husband Dax Shepard, who repped Pantone's color of the year, Marsala, in a suit.

This outfit was the perfect ensemble for Bell's return to the public eye. It's cute and bubbly, just like the actress, while still being sophisticated. I love how she kept her accessories simple and opted for metallic shoes to play up the bright pink of the dress. Plus, those ruffles! Frills are always hit-or-miss for me, but these are spot-on.

Did I mention that Bell was actually glowing? I know that's a new-mom stereotype and I'm not down to perpetuate those, but I'm not sure makeup alone could achieve that level of shine.
