First Trailer For 'Frozen' Is Adorable

by Alanna Bennett

You ready to officially say goodbye to summer? The first theatrical trailer for Disney's Frozen 's got you covered there. And even if we're not exactly ready for snow yet, it's pretty damn adorable.

Based very loosely (as is Disney's purview) on Hans Christian Anderson's The Snow Queen, Frozen will mark Disney's 53rd animated feature. From the trailer, it basically looks like a giant frozen romp. Here's the IMDb description:

Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

The film stars Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell as the film's center character Anna, Glee star and Broadway vet Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Broadway star Idina Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen, Alan Tudyk as the Duke of Weselton, and Josh Gad as the potentially-grating snowman.

As a long-time fan of Veronica Mars, I also feel the need to point out how really super cool it is that Kristen Bell is now a freaking Disney Princess.

The movie hits theaters Nov. 27.
