Woman Throws Raw Bacon At Cops To "Feed The Pigs"

In today's dose of "Wait, what?", a Massachusetts woman was arrested for throwing raw bacon and sausage at police officers at the Framingham Police Department. The incident originally occurred back on December 26th, but security footage of the incident was just released. I love how our world works now: Some things will only be news once there is accompanying video footage to be plastered across the Internet. This story just doesn't work without a visual aid. As much as I would like to make many pun laden jokes about this, the bacon-hurling woman is very possibly suffering from mental illness, in which case we shouldn't be laughing at her expense, no matter how ridiculous her crime. Her crime, by the way, as far as I can tell, is "wasting good meat". It really doesn't matter to me who it's being thrown at.

Anyway, back to the woman throwing meat: Lindsay McNamara was charged with disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property pending the results of a mental evaluation, and it's clear why: she says God instructed her to throw the meats at the police. WCVB reports that:

“She walked into the lobby and was carrying a Dunkin’ Donuts box, walked up to the window, when the officer greeted her asked if he could help here she said ‘I’m here to feed the pigs,'” Framingham police Lt. Harry Wareham said. McNamara then allegedly reached into the box and began throwing raw bacon and sausage at the officer and smearing the greasy meat onto the bulletproof glass. “It’s clear she may need help,” Wareham said."

Last time I checked, "help" was not making someone the butt of jokes on the Internet, or parading their mental illness around like some kind of shocking deformity was just discovered. That said, you can watch the video below, if that's your thing.
