There's No Excuse For Missing The SAGs Red Carpet

by Rosie Narasaki

Ah, the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet... even though the SAGs aren't generally considered to be as big as the Academy Awards or the Golden Globes, they still get some of the very best red carpet ensembles around. I mean, last year alone, there was Lupita Nyong'o's earth shatteringly beautiful teal Gucci gown (and her signature matching eyeshadow, of course), Jennifer Lawrence's sequined Dior sheath dress (she complained that it gave her "vagina armpits," but to the rest of us it was the epitome of class), and Amy Adams' superlatively perfect retro futuristic Antonio Berardi number. Yep, they're definitely not to be missed — so where do you find a good live-stream of the 2015 SAG Awards red carpet?

Well, guess what? We're simply inundated with live streaming options for the SAG Awards red carpet: it's available for live-streaming on several (a whopping five, if I'm not leaving anything out) websites. You even have a couple choices when it comes to mode of coverage — there's the standard pre-show online, The SAG Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show, and then there's E!'s Live From the Red Carpet: The 2015 SAG Awards!, which is hosted by Maria Menounos, Kelly Osbourne, and Ross Matthews. All will start at 6 p.m. ET — just pick your poison and settle in for the evening with some fresh popcorn.

E! Online

Swing by E! Online's livestream beginning at 6 p.m. if you're a fan of the infamous Mani Cam (come on, we all secretly love it, at least on some level).

TNT, People, & SAG

TNT, the official SAG Awards website, and the website of PEOPLE Magazine will all be airing The SAG Awards Live Red Carpet Pre-Show beginning at 6 p.m., which is to be hosted by JD Leyman, and Danielle Demskiwith that many live-streaming options, you really have your pick of the litter.

uStream

uStream's always a good bet — so far, it looks like they'll have live-streams of both Live From the Red Carpet: The 2015 SAG Awards! and its sister show, The SAG Awards Live Red Carpet Pre-Show.

Social Media

I don't know about you, but I usually get my red carpet news from social media. Depending on your preferences it could work out great — especially if you don't have the reliable internet for a livestream. Either way, its definitely a viable option, because minutes (if not seconds) after a dress goes down the red carpet, you know it will be on Twitter.
