There was More Sister Drama on 'RHOBH'

by Laura Rosenfeld

That sad, fallen slice of pizza on the floor that slipped out of Brandi Glanville's hand as she was trying to fend off Kyle Richards during Tuesday night's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode is exactly how everyone involved in this ill-fated poker night felt. That means not so good. Tuesday night's RHOBH kicked off right where we left off last week. We saw the exciting and dismal conclusion of Brandi's fight with Kyle over Kyle's fight with Kim.

We got just a taste of the fight last week when the ladies gathered at Eileen Davidson's house for a game night. Kim's erratic behavior with Lisa Rinna on the car ride to Eileen's house plus her aggressive attitude dropping F-bombs at the poker table caused Kyle to question Kim's sobriety. Brandi, who seemed to be drinking quite a bit during the night, sensed that Kyle was peeved at Kim and just chalked it up to long-held jealousy.

When Kim told Kyle that she was acting weird because she took some pain medication before the party, Kyle was not happy. Kim wanted to leave, and Brandi tried to help her out, but for some reason she didn't want Kyle to interact with her sister on their way out. Brandi did a bit of shoving, Kyle did a bit of shoving, and this is where we are.

As you could probably guess, things only got worse from there. Brandi continued to block Kyle's access to Kim for some reason, which made Kyle even more upset. She started sobbing, and then Kim started sobbing. All the while, Brandi was still trying to noodle her way into the sisters' business.

This whole scenario was very confusing. Why wouldn't Brandi let Kyle speak to Kim? Why did she feel the need to get involved in the first place? How could Kim actually call Brandi her "best friend"? Why didn't Eileen serve anything better than pizza at her soiree?

Lisa, hands down, had the best line of the fight, and she wasn't even involved: "When sisters collide, I don't know what the fuck to do." I was thinking the same thing.

This is the encounter that Brandi and Kyle would speak about to the press later and cite as the moment their "friendship" ended. I think we all understand why now. I wasn't there, so I don't know what really went down, but from what we saw on TV, Brandi was totally out of line, and for no good reason. Her involvement in the fight was just unnecessary and detrimental for everyone who witnessed it. But let's not forget, that's kind of how Brandi rolls on RHOBH.
