Gabrielle (AKA Isis) Recasts 'Bring It On'

Brr. It's cold in here. There must be some Toros and Clovers in the atmosphere. Anyone else now want to watch Bring It On with me? I don't know about you, but I still can't get enough of this movie. Cheerleaders? Check. Spirit fingers? Check. Spirit sticks? Check. A badass cast? Check. So, anyone in the mood for a reboot? One actress is. That's right, Gabrielle Union shared her picks for recasting Bring It On with some top-notch choices, and I think fans will agree with her.

As much as I don't want a reboot, because this movie is perfect as is, Union's casting suggestions are pretty spot-on. In an interview with Yahoo! Style, Union chatted about her 2000 movie and offered up who she thinks would make a great cast if the movie was made today.

Now, she didn't recast all of the characters, just the three leading ladies, Torrance (Kirsten Dunst), Missy (Eliza Dushku), and Isis (Union). So, who did she choose? Well, Dakota Fanning would take on Torrance, Selena Gomez would portray Missy, and Keke Palmer would play Isis.

Anyone else down with those choices? Well, let's show Union some support by discussing why these three would make Bring It On successful today, and, yes, one reason is because they'd know to make the perfect spirit fingers.

Keke Palmer's Got Fire & Spunk

Like Isis and Union, Palmer's shown she stands up for herself, can give attitude, and, most importantly, has off-the-charts dance skills. All of these are essentials to play Isis, so, yeah, Palmer fits the role.

Dakota Fanning's Spirit Bubbles Overs

There's no doubt Fanning has passion and a bubbly personality, which is exactly what an actress needs if she wants to play Torrance. Oh, and ever since she was a little girl, Fanning has showed she can take on any role. The above GIF pretty much sums up why she'd do the character justice, because as we all know, Torrance is all about being a leader and inspiring.

Selena Gomez Needs To Be The Bad Girl

Somewhat similar to her role in Spring Breakers, Gomez could give all kinds of lip and sarcasm as Missy. Plus, who doesn't want to see Gomez shed her so-called "good girl" appearance? Missy would be a great way for her to do just that.

Now, if this would ever happen, that means Union would totally direct, right? I just have a feeling her version would make the reboot that much better.
