The devastating and tragic news of Bobbi Kristina Brown's untimely death has shaken many fans. Leading up to the confirmation of her death on Sunday, Brown was placed in a medically-induced coma after being rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious in a bathtub at her home in Georgia back in January. Since the news broke of her hospitalization, there has been an outcry from fans and friends of the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, sending prayers and thoughts to her and her family. She possessed undeniable strength in the face of tragedy (this is evident in old clips featuring Brown) and she remained a positive and optimistic person via social media, undoubtedly brightening the day of many who needed it.
In 2012, Lifetime aired a season of The Houstons: On Our Own, which chronicled the lives of Whitney Houston's family after her death in early 2012. In the series, it was evident that no matter the pain that the Houston family was going through during their time of mourning, they were tough as ever and stuck by each other in support of not only who they have lost, but also in support of those that they still had in their lives.
During the time on the show, Brown followed in her mother's famed footsteps as she sought out a career as a singer. She struggled with the passing of her mom, and also the idea of marrying her boyfriend Nick Gordon. (Though the couple was thought to have married in 2014, according to her father's lawyer, they never actually wed.)
