Guy Hilariously Snapchats His Breakup

At some point in our lives, most of us go through a rough break-up. (There are exceptions, of course. If you’re one of the lucky few who has never had your heart broken, congratulations. Don’t gloat, please.) Break ups can be life-altering and soul-crushing, they take ages to get over, and they generally feel awful. But Billy, a prolific Snapchatter, shows us that break-ups don’t have to be humorless wells of despair all the time. He asks the important question: If you’re going to go through all of that searing pain and emotional agony, you might as well have a little fun with it, right?

A few days ago, imgur user musicmax33 posted 20 images with the caption, “My buddy Billy has been snapchatting me these all day.” The images show Billy, a sensitive, bearded genius, posing next to random objects, with captions that perfectly convey the pain and confusion of a failed relationship, all through the power of grainy cell phone photos and cheap puns. When banded together, these captions become raw, emotional free-form poetry:

All these flavors and you still salty

All these jackets and you still cold

All these hammers& I still couldn’t hit that

All these lights& I still couldn’t brighten UR DAY

All these vents & u were still suffocating

All these manuals& I still can’t figure U OUT
