Who Will Be Sia's Grammys Date?

by Nicole Pomarico

This year's Grammys are huge for Sia. Not only is she performing, but she's also nominated for four Grammys including Song of the Year and Record of the Year, both for her single "Chandelier." And the date on her arm when she shows up at the red carpet? I predict it will be her husband, Erik Anders Lang. It's a little surprising to find out that Sia is married if you're just a casual fan of her music, especially since the "Chandelier" singer is notoriously quiet about her private life, but after a two month engagement, she and Lang tied the knot in August 2014 in Palm Springs. Unfortunately, pictures of the couple are hard to come by — especially since Lang's Instagram account is private and Sia's no longer exists — but from what I've already learned about Lang, I kind of love him.

It won't surprise you to find out that Sia's husband is also an artistic type. He's a filmmaker whose work focuses mainly on documentaries, and on his website, he describes his passion as revolving around "the human condition and why we do what we do." It already sounds like he has a lot in common with Sia, right? And all things considered, he sounds like a pretty cool dude.

Over the course of his career, Lang has worked on press kits for movies like Dear John and Celeste & Jesse Forever, and even made a documentary on the autistic child actor from Dear John called The Story of Braeden Reed. He's also worked with popular brands like Hollister, Honda, and Louis Vuitton, and most recently interviewed Pharrell and his dancers for a dance site.

He's a huge Kristen Wiig fangirl

As we all are, really. In this video, Lang freaks out because Wiig is in town and he's thinking she must be in town because she decided to support his latest documentary project. So he knocks on her hotel room door and she says she cannot help him out because she's busy making love. This. Guy.

He's looking for funding for his latest project

Lang is currently trying to get his latest vision made: a golf documentary called Be The Ball , and so far he's raised over $50,000 toward his $170,000 goal on Go Fund Me. Sia fans, if you want something special from your favorite musician, now may be the chance. Lang's lovely wife is donating cool perks like signed postcards, personalized videos, and the chance to meet her and have her sing the song of your choice directly to you. Um, that's pretty awesome.
