Not only are you limited to a very slim color palette — red and pink — you also have to decide what level of formality to opt for, especially if your Valentine's Day plans are a surprise. Do you go for the tight red dress and strappy heels, or the flared pink skirt and flats? Perhaps something in between? Ugh, I'm getting anxious already. Luckily, the Victoria's Secret Angels celebrated Valentine's Day early, and their stunning outfits serve as the perfect inspiration for your V-Day look.

Adriana Lima attended a Victoria's Secret Valentine's Day event in Las Vegas, looking stunning and very holiday appropriate. Her fiery-red, plunging dress with cutouts, is the perfect way to up the sex factor for the romantic occasion, if that's what you're aiming for. Complete with pointy-toe pumps and sleek hair, Lima's look perfectly marries sultry with chic, and is definitely my top choice for V-Day.

Fellow Angels Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge opted for more tame looks, rocking bubblegum pink cocktail dresses at an event in New York City. Swanepoel sported a a pretty fit-and-flare silhouette, while Aldridge donned a body-hugging cap sleeved style. The two very different outfits, paired with some bold lipstick and subtle waves, are great options for just about any plans you have on the lovey-dovey holiday.
