Miranda Is A 70's Beauty For 'Bazaar'

by Sienna Fantozzi

Born in the wrong era, perhaps? Miranda Kerr covered Harper's Bazaar Australia in a 70s inspired editorial, and looks like she just stepped out of a time machine. Who knew the lingerie model had such a hippie side to her?

The Australian-born supermodel graces Bazaar's March cover looking like a pretty glam Earth mother in a scarlet velvet bralette top and matching trousers, both from Louis Vuitton, and a pair of dark brown animal skinned booties with a pink heel. With her brunette locks styled sleek and straight, Kerr effortlessly nails the nostalgic ode to one of fashion's favorite decades, and surprisingly, it's not at all gimmicky. The 31-year-old broods for the camera, wearing minimal makeup, amidst an earthy backdrop. And let's not ignore her super-toned stomach, but that one is kind of an obvious.

I normally think of Miranda as classic, feminine, and ladylike (with a rock and roll edge, every now and again), so I'm intrigued by this toned down side of her. The accompanying article has yet to be released, which will likely explain the reason behind crowning Kerr an "Earth mother," but one thing is for sure — she certainly has the 70s look down, pat.
