The Grammys 2015 Worst Dressed Stars, Only Because Their Outfits Were Kinda Boring

The Grammys are known for being the event where celebrities can go all out and push the boundaries, whether it's their performances or speeches or their red carpet looks. For that reason, we always expect to see big, bold and unique (see: Sia and Maddie). Although there weren't any celebrities whose looks could've been called awful, there were plenty who played it too safe and therefore, didn't make the best dressed list. Here are the stars from the Grammys red carpet who we think could've stepped up their game a little bit more. Don't worry — we still love you, guys!

Lady Gaga

Although Lady Gaga’s head-to-toe silver ensemble is totally va-va-voom, it’s a look we’ve seen on her before.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus definitely kept it sexy and stylish on the red carpet, but it was a much safer look than what she normally rocks. In short: forgettable.

Kim Kardashian

I feel like Kim Kardashian’s robe gown really takes away from her sweet new bob. Missed opportunity, Kim.

Nicole Kidman

Perhaps she wanted to keep it simple so that the spotlight would shine brightly on her hubby Keith Urban. Still, I think Nicole Kidman could’ve gone a bit bolder .

Jhene Aiko

Even though she looks absolutely adorable, the dress feels a bit basic for the R&B chanteuse, no?

Jennifer Hudson

I’ve got to hand it to Jennifer Hudson. White is not an easy color to pull off and it’s crystal clear — girl looks stunning! Still, a strapless white dress is a bit on the boring side.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton looks like she’s wearing something that belongs more at a serious beauty pageant than the playful Grammys red carpet.

Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo should take note from Chrissy Teigen — just because you don’t want to outshine your man doesn’t mean you can’t wear something that makes you stand out, too!

Rita Ora

There’s no doubt that Rita Ora stood out on the red carpet with this disco ball-looking gown. But for some reason, it still felt a tad uneventful.

Pharrell

I have four simple words of advice for Pharrell: bring back the hat.

Beyonce

I feel terrible putting the Queen on this list, especially when she can do no wrong, but I expected more than this long-sleeved black gown from Bey.
