Creatures Of The Wind Fall 2015

To create the matte metallic nails at Creatures Of The Wind, Katie Jane Hughes of butter LONDON varnished tips with two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Diamond Geezer, followed by a thin layer of butter LONDON Matte Finish Top coat to achieve the desired effect.

Tadashi Shoji Fall 2015

Using a combination of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Cotton Buds and Full Monty, nail artists created this beautifully blended look at Tadashi Shoji.

Kaelen Fall 2015

Kaelen’s Twin Peaks-inspired style lent itself beautifully to a modern mauve and white chevron design. Manicurist Gina Edwards crafted the look by pressing KISS 100-Count Nail Covers in Active Oval onto each nail, then painting a mauve shade over KISS’s Design Perfection chevron pattern.

Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2015

To achieve the rich, dynamic nail pattern on Rebecca Minkoff’s Patti Smith-themed runway, Michelle Saunders layered a base coat of Essie’s pastel pink Mademoiselle, followed by a stripe each of Berry Naughty and Midnight Cami.

Opening Ceremony Fall 2015

To create the diverse array of nail looks at Opening Ceremony, manicurist and nail art pro Naomi Yasuda utilized VINYLUX Weekly Polish to evoke the classic filmic style of Spike Jonze.

Desigual Fall 2015

Multifaceted, ultra-modern paint-splashed tips adorned models at Desigual, where nails were coated in a cocktail of MAC Studio Nail Lacquers in Before Dawn, Quiet Time, and Vestral White to create a semi-neutral canvas before being streaked with MAC Studio Nail Lacquer in Nocturnelle, Sparkle Dust, and Vestral White.

After priming nails with a layer of base coat, Saunders painted tips with two layers of Essie polish in Adore-a-Ball, and completed the look with flecks of Essie polish in Tarte Deco and Summit of Style.

Sophie Theallet Fall 2015

Nail artist Julie Kandalec channeled the bohemian spirit and rich hues of gypsy tradition for Sophie Theallet’s Fall 2015 runway by creating a base of vivid violet on models’ tips using Essie’s polish in Big Spender, followed by interspersed stripes and dots of Essie polish in Bahama Mama.
