Latest Bobbi Kristina Update Details Are Tragic

by Kenya Foy

In the weeks since Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub inside her Georgia home, the updates on her status have continuously surfaced. With the nonstop speculation and statements being issued by several of Brown's family members surrounding her current condition and the circumstances that took place prior to the 21-year-old being placed on life support, it's been extremely difficult to filter out the truth. But one thing's certain: The situation is dire, to say the least, and unfortunately, the latest report on her status doesn't sound at all promising: According to the TMZ, Bobbi Kristina Brown may be experiencing organ failure.

Like with previous reports, this development allegedly comes from multiple "family sources" who maintain that since Brown's conditioned has worsened, her father's decision on whether to remove her from life support no longer matters.

This news comes after statements from Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon, and her father, singer Bobby Brown, who addressed the media through his lawyer with a request that news outlets refrain from speaking with "unauthorized family members" who aren't actually privy to his daughter's condition and therefore aren't qualified to speak on her behalf. A portion of the formal statement reads:

At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family. The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised.

Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina.

None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them.

While these details from TMZ sound immensely tragic, given the fact that this most recent update on Brown's condition doesn't appear to have come from her father himself, it's likely best — not to mention, most respectful — to treat this update as unconfirmed, and continue hoping for her recovery.
