Michelle Trachtenberg Is A Kate Middleton Fan

Formerly suspected Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg is a fan of Kate Middleton's style, perhaps unsurprisingly since so many are. She's even christened the Duchess of Cambridge her “boo boo” (which gives Gwyneth Paltrow’s “my friend Beyoncé” a run for its money), which is slightly more atypical, and thinks we should all take a page from her book and like, totally recycle the items in our closets more. If the Duchess can do it, then so can we.

"Channel Kate Middleton. Take a page out of her book. Boo Boo is smart," Trachtenberg told the Fug Girls at a red carpet for the Alice + Olivia F/W 2015 presentation on Monday night. “[Kate] is like, 'I love this coat, Imma wear it a bunch more times.' It's great.” Trachtenberg added that we should emulate Middleton’s fashion habits by “wearing stuff a little more aggressively” (i.e., more than once).

And who can argue with her? Middleton has been lauded for her understated staples and mix of couture and ready to wear. That’s certainly a fashion statement in its own right, particularly from royalty.

This wasn’t the only time Trachtenberg brought up the Sensible Dutchess Middleton during Fashion Week. “This is my Kate Middleton moment,” she told InStyle, referring to her beaded Alice + Olivia cocktail dress and conservative beige coat she wore for the label’s event. The look was simple, chic — totally re-wearable, you know?
