Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson & 7 Other Groups Of Co-Stars Who Overcame On-Set Feuds

According to Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades Of Grey included a lot of nudity but not a lot of fighting. (Or, well, something like that.) Basically, there were rumors going around that Jamie Dornan and Johnson were not at all feelin' each other on the Fifty Shades Of Grey set, to the point of feuding. But, Dornan gave a tried and true "No way, Jose!" type of denial to the gossip and, I mean... with two more sequels to go, it looks like they overcame whatever may have happened, anyway.

But, feud or no feud, it's difficult to deny that this definitely got the wheels turning. So, what other co-stars have "feuded" but managed to overcome it? There are quite a few...

Kristen Stewart & Nikki Reed

If you were Twihard, you might remember rumors of the co-stars feuding. As E! Online speculated of Reed in 2011, “…This gal’s got major beef with her costars (hello, we’ve been talking the Robsten-Reed love triangle for ages)…” And as they also note, she told Seventeen Magazine that things had sort of gone sour.

But, as of 2013, Just Jared relayed that Reed said this to Yahoo!, “I’ll always love her. We all developed a kind of bond — it takes real experience and history to create that kind of closeness. I mean, I’m so lucky that I worked with such talented people and wonderful people. I love them.”

Katherine Heigl & Shonda Rhimes

I’d be hard pressed to find someone who didn’t know about this tiff, but if you don’t, Rhimes called out Heigl for being down right difficult to work with while on Grey’s Anatomy.

But Heigl didn’t fight back, she said this to Extra , ”“The last one with Shonda… it sucks. I am sorry that she feels that way and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda. I’m a big fan of her work. I watch Scandal every week, and so I’m sorry she’s left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday.”

Lea Michele & Naya Rivera

In 2014, there were rumors going around that the Glee co-stars were not at all happy with each other. There was talk of Rivera getting fired and ridiculous claims that Michele had something to do with her co-star and Big Sean’s break up.

But, Rivera wasn’t fired and Michele cleared up rumors on David Letterman telling him among other things, “It’s really unbelievable the amount of things that can just be completely made up…”

Case in point, even if they feuded, they admirably sucked it up and worked together for a whole other season.

Mel B. & Geri Halliwell

Us Weekly relays that Mel B. told Larry King Now , “When Geri left the group, it was bad. She left on my birthday, and didn’t tell anybody… Just didn’t show up. We had the rest of the tour. The American part of the tour.”

On a lighter note, she claims that they kid about it now, “I still remind her of it. Like, I saw her a couple weeks ago and I said, ‘Do you remember when you left on my birthday?”

Shannen Doherty & Jennie Garth

According to E!Online, Garth explains that she and Doherty fought a lot, but are actually friends now, ”It was more of just young girls finding their way and finding their individual voices. Shannen and I are both Aries women, we’re both very strong, independent women, so we butt heads a lot. Now, as grown women, we happen to get along as well.”

Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, & Alyssa Milano

Us Weekly explains that Alyssa Milano had referenced a feud during her time on Charmed when she was on Watch What Happens Live. The site then shows that Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty refuted what she had said on Twitter, but, Doherty also defended Milano and said, “OK, gang, there’s no drama. Let’s not feed into it!!”

Us Weekly then explained, “Milano, for her part, later tried to smooth things over with her former costars. In response to Combs’ tweet, she wrote, You’re lovely…My best to the family! Mwah! And my parents send their love to you!’”

All’s well that ends well!

Jamie Foxx & LL Cool J

LL Cool J and Jamie Foxx starred in Any Given Sunday together — and then, they starred in their own personal brawl on set.

CheatSheat quoted Foxx as saying this seven years later, “When you’re grown, you don’t really have time for all that [beefing]. When you’re young, it’s cool to have your emotions on your chest. But we’re grown now.”
