Caitlin Made The Impossible Happen on 'The Voice'

by Jessica Molinari

It's impossible that the final episode of The Voice blind auditions could get any more dramatic. First Adam Levine misses out on a very Adam-like contestant because his team was full. Now it's Christina Aguilera's turn. Twenty-three year old Caitlin Caporale sang Aguilera's own song, "Impossible," and blew the coaches away. All four coaches hit their buttons, but only two could turn around since Levine and Aguilera already had full teams. Caporale ultimately joined Team Pharrell, but didn't leave the stage until she shared a few words with Aguilera.

Aguilera was really heart broken over losing out on Caporale. So much so that she just had to sing with the New York native. The two powerhouse vocalists did an encore performance of Caporale's audition and gave the other coaches quite the show. They left Pharrell speechless with their duet of "Impossible" and convinced him that it won't be impossible to win this season of The Voice. Seriously, let's give the trophy to Caporale now because if she can sing with Aguilera than she can do anything.

Caporale is the whole package — she has amazing vocal talent, is a great performer, and has the look to become a big star. Oh, and she can hold her own against Aguilera, the queen of the super-belt. That's no easy feat. Caporale did have some practice with Aguilera, which could explain why she slid into the performance so easily — she auditioned for the pop-diva in a special Extra was hosting.

So we've established she's great, but does she have what it takes to beat out the rest of the extremely talented contestants on The Voice ? Absolutely. Her auditioned proved that she's a strong performer and that her vocals are pretty much perfect. Pharrell will finesse her talent and really work with her to make her amazing. His producer background will work in her favor. There's no doubt that we could see Caporale in the finale.
