Guy Gets Money Being This 'Hangover' Character

Hard luck falls on all of us to varying degrees, which, in an unfortunate way, should almost be expected. It's what you do with bummer curveballs that makes you the strong person you are, right? When life hands you lemons, make lemonade but add vodka, too, liberally. Isn't that how the phrase goes? Anyway, Pennsylvania man Thaddeus Kalinoski found himself in an immensely unsavory situation after losing both his job and his wife. Once he was unemployed and his wife had left him, Kalinoski had two obvious options: Succumb to the bad situation and be miserable, or move to Las Vegas and cash in on looking vaguely like Zach Galifianakis by impersonating his character from The Hangover . Kalinoski chose the second option because he is a champion of human resilience.

Kalinoski matches The Hangover's Alan with his shirt, scruffy facial and head hair, sepia-tinted shades, and a doll in a Baby Bjorn. His dedication in attire alone is worth applause, but Kalinoski kicks it up several notches by imitating Alan's reckless, party-heavy behavior. He swims various casinos and bars across Vegas's glittering strip, throwing back shots and bringing the party as much as Alan would. This all sounds like great fun, right? Imagine all that plus the fact that Kalinoski's partying earns him upwards of $250,000 a year.

This guy is kinda a genius, TBH. And here's a side-by-side of Galifianakis as the original Alan and Kalinsoski's take for good measure:

Snaps for this dude. May we all intercept life's nasty twists in such a fortuitous, margarita-heavy fashion.
