*NSYNC Is About To Meet 'Sharknado 3'

by Kaitlin Reilly

Here's some great news about the threequel we've all been waiting for. Former *NSYNC boy bander Chris Kirkpatrick will cameo in Sharknado 3, because it's only right that a film that stars a Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and Tara Reid would also boast the least recognizable member of the early '00s band. (No offense, Kirkpatrick.) According to Deadline, Kirkpatrick will cameo as a pool lifeguard who will come face to fin with yet another marine life-filled superstorm when the movie airs on SyFy on July 22. It's sure to be a glorious mess, and it's awesome that Kirkpatrick is onboard, even if he's not exactly a singer-slash-actor like *NSYNC frontman Justin Timberlake. So how can Kirkpatrick prep for the role? Easy — all he needs to do is gather inspiration from some *NSYNC lyrics.

This may be Kirkpatrick's first time tackling sharks, and only one of several acting gigs (which famously includes voicing Chip Skylark on The Fairly Oddparents, because who can forget "My Shiny Teeth and Me"), but I have confidence that Kirkpatrick can channel his inner shark-fighting lifeguard with the help of these lyrics.

Here are the *NSYNC lyrics that Kirkpatrick should use to get pumped for his new role.

"It might sound crazy, but it ain't no lie"

This is the perfect way to respond to anyone who asks if it's true about Kirkpatrick joining the Sharknado 3 cast.

"There comes a day/When I'll be the one/You'll see/It's gonna be me"

Did they ask J.C. to star in Sharknado 3? No. No they did not.

"See I've got my eyes on the skies/The heavenly bodies up high"

Where do Sharknados come from? The sky, obviously.

"I see you on the screen, I get to freaking"

Yep, that's how his character will feel when he sees news of a Sharknado on the TV.

"Thank God it's Friday night and I/just-just-just-just-juuuuuuust got paid/Money, money, money, money"

Let's be real: Sharknado 3 isn't a passion project.
