Coca-Cola x Sophia Webster Is A Refreshing Collab

Pop Quiz: What puts more pep in your step than the highly caffeinated, carbonated drink everyone knows and loves? You guessed it... shoes! That's why the Coca-Cola x Sophia Webster capsule collection is the best thing since, well, ever. As soon as I heard the news of this collab, I knew Sophia Webster, known for her wacky designs, was bound to create a perfectly bubbly collection packing plenty of POP! (pun so intended). And boy, was I right.

Celebrating the Coke contour bottle’s 100th anniversary in style, Webster produced a collection that mixed the iconic Coca-Cola logo seamlessly into her aesthetic. She even managed to work her iconic speech bubble bag into the collection. Genius! Sheer genius.

The shoes she’s designed are bold, and not just because of that bright red. They seriously dare to go where no shoe has gone before. Webster used carbonated coke bubbles as a pattern with a red and white “straw” for a heel, making for an innovative design that does the iconic soda company justice. I certainly have never seen anything quite like this. And it’s so refreshing!

The shoes were on display at the Coca-Cola 100th Anniversary party, and Rita Ora, Coke's newest icon, wore one of the designs to the event. She looked like a vision in red, and the shoes totally made the outfit. It was all quite fitting, given the nature of the celebration.

This capsule collection only proves that everything really is better with Coke, which is why I'd love get my hands on a pair of these delicious heels. They’re not available just yet, but are due to be in stores and online this September. In the meantime, I’ll be stocking up on Coke products and dreaming of the day that I have my Coke and wear it too!
