Watch Michelle Obama Dance To 'Uptown Funk'

by Lauren Barbato

The White House's 137th annual Easter Egg Roll got a little funkier than usual on Sunday, thanks to Michelle Obama and her Let's Move campaign. And the first lady, who's made it her initiative to combat childhood obesity in the United States, truly got all 35,000 guests moving with a little help from her friends on So You Think You Can Dance.

During the festivities on the White House lawn, the first lady took to the stage for a dance performance set to Mark Ronson's extremely catchy "Uptown Funk." Obama previewed the dance last month on a taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and of course Ellen DeGeneres partook in the performance, because when does Ellen ever sit out a dance?

Unfortunately, DeGeneres wasn't there on Sunday, but the So You Think You Can Dance All Stars were. Obama showed off her skills alongside Travis Wall, Steven "Twitch" Boss and Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval — and honestly, the first lady more than held her own. In fact, she may have been the best one up there. Does So You Think You Can Dance have any openings for a new All Star?

And if you missed it, here's Obama breaking it down with DeGeneres on her show last month...

The first lady launched her Let's Move initiative in 2010. The campaign is "dedicated to solving the problem of obesity within a generation, so that children born today will grow up healthier and able to pursue their dreams," the first lady states on the Let's Move website.

In late February, Obama kicked off the latest segment of her Let's Move initiative: #GimmeFive. The latest campaign is a bit like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: you do five reps of your favorite exercise, then pass it onto the next person by saying, obviously, "gimme five." So far, the campaign resulted in the best Vine video of 2015: Vice President Joe Biden casually doing arm curls while on the phone with "world leaders." Totally Joe.

While nothing beats Biden's arm curls, these new Obama gifs aren't too bad, either. Thanks for the Easter funk, M'Obama.
