'The Voice's Sawyer Won't Reveal His Hair Secrets

Many fans have asked, but The Voice contestant Sawyer Fredericks won't tell — the shampoo he uses on his flowing locks is a secret for now. But it's no secret that the 15-year-old singer — and his stunning hair — just charmed viewers. Viewers voted Sawyer Fredericks into The Voice Top 12, along with 16-year-old Mia Z on coach Pharrell Williams' team. Williams decided to save Koryn Hawthorne from going home to round out his team going into next week's performances. Team Pharrell said goodbye to eliminated singers Caitlin Carporale, Lowell Oakley, and Hannah Kirby.

"I'm happy that audience voted me through and that just feels amazing," he said to reporters after the show on Wednesday. "I don't really know what I was feeling at the time because it was kind of sad and happy just because I didn't know who was going to make it. It was mostly bittersweet." Fredericks inspired those votes with his performance of a gorgeous acoustic version of Ray LaMontagne's "Trouble" earlier this week.

It's all been a whirlwind for Fredericks, who is the youngest singer on this season of the show and is from a small farm in Upstate New York. Many of his friends back home ask him what it's like to be on the show, but mostly fans ask about his choice in shampoo. "I don't want to answer the question," he said. Sorry, folks. The secret stays with him!

Fredericks was willing to admit Los Angeles, where The Voice is filmed, is not the city for him and he misses his farm dearly. "It's a nice break thing from the cold, but I don't really care for LA or the city," he said. "I miss family and I have all my animals that I miss — the cows and the dogs. I think the dogs are what I miss the most. I have no super pups with me here."

And that is definitely a super pup.
