#TBT Sean John Is Making A Comeback (For Girls)

by May Sofi

Next up on the 90s revival train! Diddy is launching a Sean John line for young girls, so you can soon rock those velour tracksuits that you secretly envied on your brother back in the day. There is no denying that the 90s are making a huge comeback in more ways than one. Since we have already seen the resurgence of the light up shoes thanks to Julianne Moore, and of graffiti print à la Moschino, it only makes sense that Diddy would hop on the bandwagon with a revival of his once iconic brand.

The rapper-turned-designer signed on with Evy of California, a leading children's fashion licensing company, for the making of his new female tween/teen line, geared specifically towards "tweens and their younger sisters.” Styleite reports. I can still pass for a teenager, can't I? (okay maybe I'm in denial). Set to launch in Spring 2016, the collection will stay true to Sean John's original aesthetic, "the collection will hit the fashion mark with trends that are firmly rooted in the DNA offering aspirational sportswear and outerwear for boys and girls" according to the press release.

No one knows for sure what the girl version of Sean John's infamous track suits will look like, but I'm hoping it's something similar to JLo's outfit circa the 2000 VMAs. Although this may be a littttle raunchy for a 13-year-old girl:
