'Pretty Little Liars' Is Building an Empire

by Alanna Bennett

Well, A would probably be happy about this one: Pretty Little Liars spin-off Ravenswood was ABC Family's biggest premiere ever. Like, ever ever. So it's official: Pretty Little Liars and all that it's wrought aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Ravenswood — which follows five people who are bound together by their town's curse — fit tidily at the top of its demographic for ABC Family. Pretty Little Liars itself isn't doing too shabby itself, with its Halloween episode, "Grave New World," raking in what Variety refers to as "the second largest score for any telecast in network history in women 18-34."

And what's the future for Ravenswood? Well, we would assume it's quite bright — ABC Family would seem a little insane if they were to cancel such a hit.

So basically: The ladies are flocking to Pretty Little Liars and the things inspired by it, and it's seeming like those things can't be crushed. Not only did Pretty Little Liars and Ravenswood make the night the biggest Tuesday the network's ever had, but Pretty Little Liars also remains the most-tweeted about series of all time.

Youths, man! They love themselves some dishy teen girls wrapped up in conspiracy theories.
