You Can Buy Chanel Jewelry On Net-A-Porter

by Melanie Richtman

As you may have heard, Chanel plans on introducing e-commerce in 2016, but if you really cannot wait another year to spend $2,000 on some designer goods, you’re in luck. Chanel is having pop-up on Net-a-Porter starting April 15 (which is conveniently Tax Day) and lasting for three weeks. But don’t get too excited — the pop-up is only going to have jewelry for sale. But it at least opens the door for future Net-a-Porter partnerships.

The fine jewelry collection, which features rings, cuffs and earrings costing anywhere between $2,000 and $20,000, is called “Coco Crush,” as evidenced by Natalie Massenet’s Instagram post on Friday. Net-a-porter’s founder Massenet has been pushing for a Chanel partnership for 15 years, especially since Chanel is only one of two luxury brands who doesn’t sell online, the other being Céline (although, Chanel Beauté is sold online).

While I’m just as excited as the next person that Chanel will be selling online (because I can totally afford luxury goods… lol), it’s a little lame that they’ll only jewelry at this point. Sell some ready-to-wear looks! Come on, Karl! Anyway, here is what would be in my dream Chanel shopping cart — the online shopping kind, not the fake Chanel grocery store kind.
