Shooting At Wayne Community College In NC

On Monday morning, a shooting at Wayne Community College's library in Goldsboro, North Carolina, prompted a campus-wide lockdown. A message posted the college's website read: "Lock Down. This is not a drill. The entire campus is under lockdown." North Carolina authorities confirmed to NBC that one person had been shot near or in the library, and the shooter has been described as wearing a blue jacket and white pants. Reuters reports that one person has been killed. Officials are considering the incident an active shooter situation.
