T. Swift's Friends Totally Dig Calvin Harris

by Caitlyn Callegari

One does not simply date Taylor Swift of their own accord. One must first earn the trust and respect of her army of best friends, and I don't need to tell you how arduous of a task that is. There's lots of them and they are sprinkled, literally, all over the world. So, it's a very good thing that Jaime King and Ed Sheeran think Calvin Harris, Swift's rumored boyfriend, is worthy. Because, it means he passed the Taylor Swift BFF Boyfriend Test, US and UK version.

Or, at least, that's how I imagine it happened. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that her potential suitors may have to face a BFF screening, either. It's not a bad thing at all. When you have a friend as successful and desirable as Swift, you have to make sure the dude who's trying to win her affection is worthy of such greatness.

According to E! Online, both Sheeran and King were asked about what they thought of Harris (at separate times, mind you) and both solidified that he passed the Taylor Swift standardized boyfriend testing system. King said of Harris to the site, "He's a wonderful man. He's a beautiful man." As for Sheeran, he said basically the same thing to ZM Online, "He's cool. He's a really nice guy, yeah. Really, really nice guy." Oh Calvin, ya done good.

But, pray tell, how did he get to be "in" with this crowd? I have a few ideas of the sort of testing he had to go through.
