Who Are These Sandy Haters?!

I was honestly pretty surprised when Sandra Bullock was announced as People's "Most Beautiful Woman" of 2015 on Wednesday morning. Not because she isn't a good choice, because that couldn't be further from the truth, but because it seemed like for once, the magazine had chosen someone universally adored. Bullock is one of those people who is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. With a sense of humor, intelligence, and a healthy dose of modesty, she's basically a personality triple threat, and we could all stand to learn something from her.

And of course, that's not even bringing into consideration her level of talent. At age 50, she really seems to be hitting her stride, career-wise, with a plum role in Gravity, a hilarious turn in The Heat alongside Melissa McCarthy, and an Oscar under her belt for her performance in The Blind Side. On top of all that, she seems to be a great mother to her son, Louis, and just a great person in general. I guess what I'm saying is that it couldn't have happened to a nicer gal, and I was pretty sure everyone would agree with that. Even if Bullock isn't your cup of tea, you gotta recognize that she's A) gorgeous and B) completely killing it right now.

And yet... some people didn't. There were very few haters out there, sandwiched in between the many "OMG OMG QUEEN SANDY I'M CRYING RIGHT NOW" posts, but they were certainly out there, and here's the proof:

Oh did I mention? Most people were so excited for Bullock that some of these tweets from "haters" are a bit of a reach.

... and then some of them aren't.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

You know Twitter — never missing an opportunity to compare completely unrelated women. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!!!

Girl, what?

Some kind words from a devoted fan.

Not related to Wednesday's announcement, but still very, very hurtful.

But at the end of the day, the person with the strongest opinion against this... is Sandra Bullock herself. Naturally.
