6 Ways Reign Aston's Arrival Will Help 'KUWTK'

by Sara Steinfeld

Is it just me, or has Keeping Up With The Kardashians taken a turn for the abnormally depressing as of late? We have Rob's apparently growing troubles, Khloe Kardashian getting into a fight with her best friend Malika for the first time ever, Kim Kardashian struggling to get pregnant again, Bruce and Kris Jenner fighting constantly, and Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship, which is, once again, hot-and-cold. So I have to ask: Will things get better when Reign Aston Disick is born on KUWTK ?

Scott and Kourtney's relationship has been tumultuous to say the least for the past several years, but watching them grow further apart on-screen is a hell of a lot more depressing than just reading about it. However, when Mason and Penelope are around, the two seem like they're at their best—it's almost as if the kids make them happier to be around each other, which honestly, is pretty amazing. And, since the previews for this Sunday's episode of KUWTK tell us that Reign's due date is fast approaching, it's safe to say that he'll be here sooner rather than later — probably within the next three episodes, as Khloe noted that Kourtney is eight-and-a-half months pregnant. Maybe when that happens, Scott and Kourtney will go back to being the loving parents and couple I love to see them be. In fact, here are six ways KUWTK should improve when Reign Aston Disick is finally born.

Kourtney Will Have More Faith In Scott

I know this sounds mean, but just hear me out. Kourtney can be very tough on Scott. Now, I know she has every right to be irritated when her baby's father plans trips so close to her due date, but Scott has been a great father to their children. I understand that she's nervous, but I think at the end of the day, she should know that Scott will be there for her. Hopefully, once Reign comes, she'll see that.

The Family Feuding Will Stop, At Least For A While

Babies have a way of bringing the family together, and something to celebrate will be a great way to distract the Kardashian/Jenner clan from their respective problems for the time being.

It Will Convince Scott To Get The Help He Needs

We know that Scott ultimately checked into rehab a few months after Reign was born, and I think his arrival was a huge part of Scott's realization that he needed help. I'm glad that Scott sought that help and realized it was best for him and his family.

Scott Will Calm Down & Realize He Has Nothing To Be Worried About

I think a huge part of the reason that things have been so tense between Scott and Kourtney and why he's been traveling so often all comes back to his reaction to finding out that Kourtney was pregnant for a third time. I think he was genuinely terrified that he couldn't handle three kids. Once Reign is born, though, I'm sure he'll realize that they can handle it, and that tension will go away. I really just hate to seem the two of them fight about things like that.

We'll See More Of Khloe As An Aunt

She's so great with her nieces and nephew, I can't wait to watch her interact with yet another one her sisters' kids.
