Kelly Rutherford Took Us Back To The '70s

by May Sofi

The '70s are back, baby! Kelly Rutherford wore a '70s-inspired look to the premiere of new film Iris in New York City, totally channeling her inner disco diva and looking fabulous. The disco era is having a major moment in the spotlight right now. We just witnessed Zosia Mamet pay homage to the decade with her wispy fringed bangs, in addition to Rihanna's Brigitte Bardot style blonde mane on the cover of V Magazine, not to mention all the runway looks. Clearly, the psychedelic period is here to say.

Rutherford went for a more classic look, donning a retro white mini dress that consisted of long bell sleeves, a high neck, and large white flowers covering its entirety. The best part of the ensemble was definitely her oversized white statement earrings — they practically screamed disco à la Saturday Night Fever. The actress topped-off the look with white pointy toe pumps, a white clutch, and side-parted sleek locks, all of which tied together the complete ensemble perfectly.

If there is something Rutherford knows how to do well, it's fashion. I mean, have you seen her on Gossip Girl?! Her style was next level on that show. Glamour should be her middle name.

Check out the retro outfit below:
