Zendaya Debuts Unexpected Preppy Look

Although Zendaya's most famous turn on the red carpet is embroiled in scandal, make no mistake about it, this Disney star has style to spare. Constantly switching up her look to amazing results, Zendaya wore Michael Kors on Good Morning America and channeled ladylike prep — an unexpected yet totally awesome look for the star.

It seems like every time Zendaya makes an appearance on a red carpet, magazine cover, or television show, she's totally revolutionized her look from head to toe. Whether she's rocking '70s disco style at the AMAs or giving old Hollywood glamour a modern twist like when she (now infamously) paired her waist-length dreadlocks with Vivienne Westwood couture at the Oscars, Zendaya never fails to look absolutely stunning.

Her appearance on Good Morning America was just one more example of how this fashion chameleon can tackle any style and make it feel completely her own. In her appearance on the talk show to promote her role as this year's host of the Radio Disney Music Awards, Zendaya wore what looks like a plaid shirt dress, but is in fact matching separates, from Michael Kors Spring 2015 collection that features a full skirt with a tie waist and a wrap top with a slightly open, collared neckline. The overall look felt like she just stepped out of the pages of a fifties-era edition of Vogue.

Finished off with a super-high top knot, minimal accessories, a slightly flushed lip, and a fresh pair of white heels, Zendaya looked like the master of springtime prep. Personally, I can't wait to see what fashion era this style maven takes on next!
