Jump On The Jumpsuit Trend Like Rose Byrne

by Jamie Cuccinelli

These past few days have been full of jumpsuits for the celebrity set. From Rose Byrne in her navy polka-dot wide-legged one piece, to Blake Lively in a tropical print jumpsuit just as sunny as her personality, to Scarlett Johnson at the Avengers: Age of Ultron, I can't help feeling that these gals know something that we don't about pulling off the trend. But from the looks of it, it seems that the key to jumpsuit joviality lies in one word: balance.

Leave it to these actresses to pull off one of the world's most difficult trends effortlessly. But then again, who is really surprised? Those ladies could wear some strategically placed sections of yesterday's newspaper, throw a belt on it, and somehow make it not only work, but make me actually want it for the next time I go out.

It's a trick of the trade to learn how to pull all the bagginess and sometimes bizarre shapes of jumpsuits into one clean, harmonious look, but take a cue from these ladies. Byrne and Johansson balanced the wide pant of their looks with a defined waist, while Lively balanced out her loud, leafy print with arms and shoulders left bare and jewelry free. Feeling brave? Jump right into the trend and check out these copycat jumpsuit looks for spring.
