Kendall Is The Face Of A Chinese Denim Brand

by Melanie Richtman

From her Calvin Klein and Estee Lauder contracts to her GQ cover, Kendall Jenner is arguably the hottest model of the moment, which totally explains why she just signed another campaign contract; however, this latest adventure is a little unexpected. Kendall Jenner is the new face of Penshoppe, a Phillippines-based denim brand.

Penshoppe, a brand relatively unknown in the United States, shared a video of Jenner where she introduced herself as "the newest face of Penshoppe" in a less than enthusiastic tone, but maybe that's just how she talks? Previous Penshoppe campaign stars include fashion's other It girl Cara Delevingne and Sean O'pry, the star of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" music video.

Jenner went on to say that she thinks the team and the clothes are amazing and she "can't wait for you to see it." What is "it"? Did they leave it vague on purpose just to keep us intrigued? Is "it" a denim collaboration? Is "it" a sexy print campaign? WHAT IS "IT"?

My guess is that there will be a Kendall Jenner collection of denim. Since they added #KendallxPenshoppe, it just makes me think that there will be a new line of jeans, especially since brands love having models design denim collections lately. Just look at Karlie Kloss for Frame Denim and Joan Smalls for True Religion.
