8 Thomas Ravenel Campaign Slogans That Could Have Helped The 'Southern Charm' Star's Bid For Senate — Well, Almost

I'm not saying I know everything there is to know about politics, but I do know how to win a high school class council campaign with a catchy slogan. So basically I know everything there is to know about politics. When Thomas Ravenel, of Southern Charm, announced he was running for United States Senate of South Carolina, I was ready to be hit with a slogan that would actually leave me considering a vote for T-Rav (if I lived in South Carolina). Unfortunately, Thomas didn’t have a slogan (or if he did, it wasn’t good enough for anyone to know about).

If he did have a slogan — that was as catchy as the eight following slogans I’ve whipped up for his next dabble with politics — he surely would have won the race. OK, maybe he wouldn’t have won, but he would have earned more than 3.9 percent of the votes. Here are eight slogans T-Rav can use next time — free of charge (because he probably spent the majority of his own money on this most recent political adventure) — he enters the political arena.

Thomas’ “Raise the Roof” ad was terrible, at best. But, I think he definitely could have taken advantage of threatening South Carolinians with “raising the roof” until he was voted into office.

Sometimes, you’ve got to flaunt the connections you have. Thomas wouldn’t have been able to get us all Bravo shows, but maybe those who donated the most to his campaign could have at least been awarded a cameo as guest bartender on Watch What Happens Live?

It’s OK to be vulnerable, Thomas. There’s no shame in begging for votes. Show the voters that you really need them, and maybe that will encourage them to check the box next to your name.

I think if Thomas incorporated the famous slogan from Atlanta ex-housewife and Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak Biermann he could’ve brought the younger generation to the polls.

He did blame Andy Cohen, and America worships Andy Cohen. We would not have let Andy Cohen down like that, and forced Thomas to show his hand, had we known he would blame the Bravo King if he lost the election.

Hey, if The Terminator can do it, The T-Ravinator can do it, too.

ICYMI, Thomas loves himself a Facebook status. This would have been the easiest way to appeal to the younger voters. And increase your friend count.

Thomas could hold a third Southern Charm season over voters’ heads by teasing that another season will only happen if he wins. That probably would have had more than 3.9 percent of the state’s people flocking to the polls in support of his name.
