Catherine Deneuve Looks Super Chic At Cannes

Iconic French actress Catherine Deneuve looks just as chic at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival as she did at 23 in 1966. Deneuve, 71, has been attending the film festival for over a half a century and has managed to look glamorous each and every time. Her red carpet appearance this year is giving us some major deja vu.

Deneuve arrived at the festival opening ceremony wearing a black and red draped gown with a black belt cinching her waist. She paired the ornate dress with a simple pair of black heels and her classic bouffant hairstyle. Deneuve has been rocking the bouffant since the early 1960s and when something works, you just don't change it.

The French actress, who stars in Le Tête Haute , has been stepping onto the Cannes red carpet in the same regal fashion for years, and it has everything to do with her poise, signature wave, and dislike for social media. Deneuve recently told journalists that she dislikes social media because it demystifies the glamour of being a celebrity, saying that "being a star entails glamour and secrecy; it’s hard to keep any degree of mystery nowadays."
