These Are Perfect Outfits For Ending 'Mad Men'

by May Sofi

You might still be mourning the end of the show after last night's finale, but the cast of Mad Men was all about the celebrations. January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks and others commemorated the beloved series by rocking retro ensembles to a Mad Men farewell event in Hollywood. Practically the entire cast was dressed in the vintage theme, and it was the perfect way to bid adieu to the show's beloved mod era.

Jones donned a black midi A-line skirt and an ivory crew neck sweater with matching asymmetrical stripes all throughout. A pale blue blouse peeked out from underneath her top, giving the monochrome style just the right pop of color. She completed the look with a voluminous blowout, winged liner, and a red lip, that looked just like something her character would wear.

Moss went for a more girly style, sporting a knee-length black dress that incorporated pleats, bright colors, and a geometric design which contributed to the cool mod theme of the night. Perhaps the best part of her look was the hair makeup — which consisted of side-parted beachy waves and some chic cat-eye liner.

Check out both looks below.

Hendricks put a feminine spin on a menswear style with a magenta-colored pant suit that looked absolutely gorgeous. She paired the ensemble with a crisp white collared blouse and point toe patterned pumps, making for a fierce look that totally stayed true to her character Joan. Her strawberry blonde locks were gathered in a piecey up-do that tied the whole style together.

For 7 seasons we have enjoyed the incredible '60s-inspired wardrobe of Betty, Joan, and Peggy — and thankfully they gave us one last dosage of it before it's gone for good. RIP Mad Men.
