I spent a lot of time at camping sites when I was a little girl. But as I've grown older, my desire to spend a few nights sleeping on the ground in a cramped tent with no WiFi and only one opportunity to shower has diminished — thank goodness for glamping sites! Glamping is the art of "camping" while enjoying five-star hotel amenities, provided you're willing to pay the price, and you're up for a summer adventure.
Thanks to some insight from Cortnie Purdy Fausner, co-founder and creative director of The Venue Report, an awesome site that helps you find the chicest wedding, vacation, and party venues, and more, I've rounded up nine glamping sites that will make you wonder how you ever tolerated regular camping in the first place.

The Lodge & Spa At Brush Creek Ranch — Saratoga, Wyoming
Talk about glamour in the heart of the American West. The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch is an all-inclusive glamping experience on 30,000 acres of wilderness, and includes rustic accommodations, a luxury spa, and some of the best fly fishing that side of the Rocky Mountains.

Paws Up Montana — Greenough, Montana
The Resort at Paws Up may be the most famous glamping spot on this list, and for good reason. Situated on a working 37,000-acre cattle ranch, guests can enjoy both luxury tents and houses, horseback riding, and even hot air ballooning.

Mustang Monument — Wells, Nevada
Only open for four months a year, the Mustang Monument is an eco-ranch that is home to luxury tents you have to see to believe, and 650 rescued mustang horses.

Autocamp — Santa Barbara, California
This is a hipster glamping dream destination. Each airstream trailer is personalized, and can sleep up to four people. And see those bikes on the front? Those are yours to use to tour Santa Barbara.

Dunton River Camp — Cresto Ranch, Colorado
Once used as a cattle ranch (though cattle still graze on a large part of the land), the Dunton River Camp utilizes eight, fully-furnished prospector-style tents to provide a five-star hotel experience. Each tent includes ensuite baths, WiFi, and more — and, of course, guests have access to 500 acres of beautiful river country.

Moab Under Canvas — Moab, Utah
You can stay in canvas safari tents, or safari suites (which includes a ensuite bathroom!) at Moab Under Canvas — and you and all your friends and family can enjoy a blanket of stars and 40 acres of secluded canyon.

Glacier Park Weddings At Great Northern Resort — West Glacier, Montana
Obviously, the name suggests this glamping site is primarily used for weddings, but it can be used as a glamorous retreat spot, as well. You can choose from a few Swiss Chalet-modeled cabins, and bask in the picturesque views.
TreeHouse Point — Issaquah, Washington
Remember all those treehouse fantasies you had as a kid? Finally live them at TreeHouse Point. Except, of course, these treehouses come furnished with complimentary chocolate-covered salted caramels.
