More '10 Things I Hate About You'!

Let today forever be known as the best Thursday ever for one reason, and one reason only: Today is the day in which we found out that the classic '90s teen film, 10 Things I Hate About You , is getting a spinoff movie. What the what?!

Yup — according to Vulture, this is finally happening. After years of rumors, it seems that 10 Things I Hate About Life is re-starting production, with the film's original director, Gil Junger, even on board to helm. Even better: It's apparently going to star Evan Rachel Wood and Thomas McDonell, and production will begin as early as next month. Everything is happening!

The new film will reportedly be mostly unrelated to the original 1999 film, which starred Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger, but it will share the same theme to make it a kind of spinoff. Wood and McDonell are set to star as two people who are suicidal and just about to end their lives before they meet, and bond over their similar emotional states before eventually falling in love. Originally, Hayley Atwell was attached to play Wood's character, but after the project fell flat in 2012, there was a huge casting shuffle.

Filming is reportedly set to begin in mid-December around LA and Malibu. Yay!
