14 Best Moments From The 'Scream Queens' Promo

If you were one of those people who thought Ryan Murphy might be satisfied having just one incredibly successful program on television at one time, think again. He just released the featurette for his upcoming series Scream Queens , which will be airing this fall on FOX. Just months after Glee's final episode, and in the peak of American Horror Story's popularity, Murphy will be trying for another hit with this dark comedy centered around a sorority with some pretty twisted secrets. He describes it as a cross between Heathers and Friday the 13th, so it sounds like it should fit right in with the rest of his resume. (You won't be surprised to hear that the plot also features a murder mystery.)

Murphy also cast several actresses he's worked with before, like Emma Roberts from AHS and Lea Michele from Glee, who, this time around, plays a very different character for her — in an awkward headgear contraption. This year, the sorority is being forced to accept every single person who applies, and the cast is filled out with performers like Keke Palmer, Ariana Grande, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The footage introducing the show is just about two-and-a-half minutes long, but it packs a bunch of material in there, so here are the most exciting moments.

Oh, hello fashion! Looks like we have a lot to look forward to here.

UM YES PLEASE.

Real talk: is that a cravat???

Oh, hey gurl.

I see we're going full evil sorority on this, not messing around.

YAS QUEEN.

Sure sure, very normal, not creepy.

HEY FELLA.

"These girls are kickass. They aren't waiting for a boy to come rescue them; they're the ones doing the rescuing." Hell yes.

Putting the scream in Scream Queens.

What.

Love that color scheme.

RUH-ROH.

Um no, absolutely not, no thank you.

Scream Queens will premiere this September on FOX.
