14 Amazing Celeb Memorial Day Posts

by Jaclyn Anglis

When you hear the words "Memorial Day," what types of events come to mind? If you're like many Americans, you will likely be celebrating by hosting a backyard barbeque, setting off colorful fireworks, or otherwise enjoying the warm weather outside. While parties, enjoying the warm weather, and indulging in greasy food is always fun, it is worth taking pause and remembering what Memorial Day is really all about, like a few of your favorite stars did. Some celebrities honored Memorial Day on social media.

This is not to say that you should not be outside soaking up the sun and waving around your American flag. You should absolutely take the time to take advantage of the holiday (after all, how often do you look forward to a Monday, for crying out loud?). That being said, it is good to keep in mind that some people don't have the luxury of enjoying such a beautiful day—our brave current servicemen and servicewomen and our fallen heroes. And it is really quite simple to do do this. If someone you know is in the army, keep them in your thoughts. If you see a veteran, thank them for their important work in keeping us safe. And if you have a few moments extra to spare, take some time out of your holiday to glance through some of the best celebrity posts about Memorial Day. You'll be glad you did.
