Menswear Dog Has Excellent First Date Style Advice

What's better than a stylish man? A stylish dog in menswear, of course! Among the many fashion-forward dogs on Instagram is a Shiba Inu named Bodhi, who now goes by Menswear Dog. According to CNN, Menswear Dog has released a book of photos to teach readers about, you guessed it, menswear.

The book, entitled "Menswear Dog Presents, the New Classics: Fresh Looks for the Modern Man," is written by Menswear Dog's owners David Fung and Yena Kim, who started dressing up their pup for fun, but then realized the potential — and popularity — of their fashionable canine.

"There's something unique about presenting menswear in a different way and combining two things that people like to look at — cute animals and fashion," Fung says in his interview with CNN.

Even if dogs aren't your thing — don't forget cats in people clothing are adorable too — Menswear Dog is more than just a pretty face. He actually gives good advice, too! The dapper dog, who is "The Most Stylish Dog" according to his Instagram, gave CNN some tips on what to wear on a first date and they're pretty great. Take note guys, Menswear Dog won't lead you astray (sorry, I had to).

1. Classic is Best

Simple and classy never fails. Go for a white button-down for an instant hit.

2. Opt for a Sport Coat

Sport coats, which come in a variety of textures and colors, can heighten any outfit, and can show that you're really dressing to impress.

3. GoLight on the Accessories

Well, unless you're Menswear Dog and have really cool sunglasses. Then just go for it.

4. Oxfords are the Way to Go

Menswear Dog may not wear shoes, but take note of his buddy on the left — a good, neutral lace-up Oxford works with most looks.

5. Always Smell Good (Fragrance is a Must)

Basically just try to smell as good as Menswear Dog looks—fresh.
