Alexa Chung Covers Harper's Bazaar UK July Issue

by Julia Guerra

We may not be as impressed with or excited for florals as a spring season staple as we had been prior to the 2006 film adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada (thanks a lot, Miranda Priesely), but I think we can all agree that Alexa Chung's Harper’s Bazaar UK cover for the July Issue is utter perfection. Clad in a flower print Burberry Prorsum dress on the cover, a fuscia Erdem dress for her editorial spread and a cream Simone Rocha top and skirt with white flower detailing on the fashion icon's subscribers edition cover, she looks utterly divine. I’ll forgive your florals if you forgive mine, Chung, deal?

The Hampshire native's hazy green eyes are sure to captivate the glossy's readers as they radiantly glow, painted with shades of pink and purple eye shadows paired with bold pastel lips. We are weeks shy of summer, but Chung's beauty look will have you envisioning afternoons poolside and BBQs in the park.

The British model and designer chats with Harper's Bazaar Deputy Editor Sasha Slater on her successes within the fashion industry, including her clothing collections and joining the editorial staff of Vogue UK as a contributing editor in the July issues, to hit newsstands Wednesday.

Scoop up your copy, ASAP, and break out those florals.
