Which 'Love Actually' Couple Are You?

by Caroline Pate

Days are getting colder, nights are getting longer, Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It's that special time of year, the time when you ask yourself "Why the hell are there candy canes in Wal-Mart already when Christmas is still a month away?" But don't give in to the Christmas shopping freakouts just yet. Settle in with a hot cup of cocoa and treat yourself to a little Love Actually before the holiday madness. After all, it's the movie's tenth anniversary Thursday, and it's not technically a Christmas movie. It's more a movie about the different kinds of relationships, how they work, and why they're so important.

The Results

Mostly A's: You're Billy Mack and Joe! You guys are true friends, but don't let success get to your head. Make sure they know how much you appreciate them.

Mostly B's: You're Peter and Juliet! That sucks! You have some serious unrequited feelings for your friend's significant other. You can let it all out in the most romantic gesture of all time with the help of some poster board and a boombox, but just make sure that either way, you don't expect them to reciprocate. And if they don't feel the same way about you, make sure to move on.

Mostly C's: You're Jamie and Aurelia! You crazy kids have absolutely nothing in common, but who knows, you just might make it. If you wanna take the chance, go ahead and risk it all for them...hopefully, it'll be a little easier than learning Portuguese.

Mostly D's: You're Harry and Karen, and you are an asshole! If you're not cheating on your significant other already, you've definitely thought about it. Either put some more work into your relationship or break up with them already.

Mostly E's: You are David and Natalie! Yeah, getting together might make people look at you weird and you don't want to come off as rude, but c'mon, just make a move already. All your reasons for not getting together are pretty stupid, so just go for it and make out with them in front of a bunch of small children (or you know, something like that).

Mostly F's: You are Joanna and Sam, and you have no idea what the hell you're doing! You do not have to impress someone to get them to like you. Just tell them already, and make sure to hurry up and do it before you have to run through airport security and piss off the TSA.

Mostly G's: You are Sarah and Karl, and I am so sorry. You are a totally sweet person with your heart in the right place, but don't let your responsibilities take over your love life. You can take care of your family and make out with that hot guy from work, I promise.

Mostly H's: You are John and Judy, and hopefully you two didn't meet somewhere as weird as doing sex scenes in a movie. But seriously, you guys need to hang out outside of work and get to know each other when you're not forced to awkwardly dry hump (or whatever you do at work).
