While I wouldn't call myself a diehard Arianator, I will be the first to admit that Ariana Grande is a very talented young woman. Aside from being an amazing singer, you can't deny that the girl has some real catchy songs. While the majority of her music is about love and heartbreak, the words she sings are super empowering for females — and it's not just her songs that are empowering. On Sunday, Grande went on a "feminist rant" of sorts on social media, sharing a long note for fans to read about the double standards between male and female artists today. Touching on several important issues, Grande points out that, rather than focusing on her music and career, many people choose to define who she is based on the guys she's dated.

With her words, Grande proved that, not only are the lyrics on her album uplifting for women everywhere, but what she has to say off the track is just as important. And her story is definitely a familiar one in the industry today.
