Bill Hader's High School Prank Is The Greatest

by Orli Matlow

Just in case you need another reason to love one of the best Saturday Night Live alums around, Bill Hader, his recent prank attempt at Iroquois High School in Buffalo, New York should suffice. Here's what went down: On Thursday, An Iroquois High senior was speaking at an assembly in the school gym, saying that she made a Make-A-Wish Foundation request to invite a local firefighter to campus — when, suddenly, a voice came over the loudspeaker saying, "The hottest high school is Iroquois." Bill Hader then appeared, completely shocking students and making for basically the best senior prank in the history of senior pranks. (Of course, after the initial shock of his presence wore off, Hader stuck around to take selfies with students and sign yearbooks, because he's the actual greatest.)

This prank is just more proof that Hader is consistently one of the coolest people in show business, and probably an absolute delight to have around. He just made the dreams of a whole class of high school seniors come true (seriously, this is, like, the most interesting thing that has ever happened near Buffalo). It's also another amazing occurrence in the long history of celebrities getting involved with amazing pranks: Whether they prank the public or each other, a handful of good-humored celebrities have a great history with pranking — and some are so amazing, they even rival Hader's.

First, check out video footage of Hader's prank:

Here are four other celebs whose history with pranks rivals Hader's:

1. Bieber Or Die

In 2010, Justin Bieber claimed to have bought Funny or Die, only to rename it "Bieber or Die." He posted a video, and stated, "Anything that's not Bieber, dies. I'm a star; I do what stars do. I ride on yachts, I autograph lady lumps, and I pay people to slap them." It wasn't true, of course, but still hilarious at the time.

2. When Nicole Richie Hacked Kim Kardashian's Twitter

Also in 2010 (what a good year for celebrity pranks!), Nicole Richie hacked into Kim Kardashian's Twitter as an April Fools Day joke. Apparently, Khloe gave Nicole the Twitter password and Nicole tweeted some...interesting stuff.

3. When Daniel Radcliffe Pranked The Paparazzi

"I would wear the same outfit every single time with different T-shirts underneath but I would wear the same jacket and zip it up so they couldn't see what I was wearing underneath, and the same hat," he told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2007, "So they could take photos for six months but it would look like the same day. They became un-publishable, which was hilarious because there's nothing better than seeing the paparazzi get really frustrated." There's nothing better than pranking the paparazzi, considering they so often make life pretty frustrating for celebs.

4. Jimmy Kimmel Live's Twerk Fail Video

Jimmy Kimmel pranked the world when he hired a stuntwoman to film the "Worst Twerk Fail EVER - Girl Catches Fire" video. Of course, no one knew she was a stuntwoman at the time.
